AQUARIUM SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
An improperly designed aquarium stand can severely damage your tank. Aquarium should be placed on an appropriate stand provided by original aquarium manufacturer. Office desks or other furniture are not suitable aquarium stands due to the weight of a full aquarium. Do not place aquariums on or near electrical appliances such as TVs, stereo units, etc. When moving an aquarium it should be completely empty of all water and gravel. Care must be taken to lift the tank from the bottom not from the top frame or bracing. There is a special-enforced foam that attaches to the bottom of every aquarium in Ocean View, Moon View and Star View series tanks. Do not remove the foam from the tank. The foam serves as a cushion between the tank and stand. If cutting some foam off for plumbing is necessary, cut a portion only enough for the need of plumbing.
LIMITED LIFETIME AQUA VIM WARRANTY
Aqua Vim, (hereinafter as we, or us), warrants this aquarium, to the original purchaser, against glass to glass leaks due to defective sealant and workmanship detailed as follows:
We will, at our option, either replace or repair the defective aquarium when purchased and used with an appropriate aquarium stand provided by us, within three years (36 months) of purchase of Ocean View, Moon View, and Star View aquariums, and within one year of purchase of Grand View and Table aquariums.
After 36 months and before 60 months of your purchase of Ocean View, Moon View, and Star View aquariums, we will absorb 50% of the cost of a replacement or fixing. After 60 months, we will absorb 25% of the replacement cost.
If the model to be replaced is discontinued or is determined by us as being no longer available, we will replace it with a model that is closest to the style, shape, and size of the defective aquarium. In such case, we will pay the difference if the purchased price of the defective aquarium is higher than the replacement aquarium; and you will pay the difference if the purchased price of the defective aquarium is lower than the replacement aquarium.
For ALL replacement tanks under this warranty, shipping and transit costs are covered by the purchaser. For ALL repairs, we will cover one way shipping from our NYC warehouse to the purchaser, and the purchaser is responsible for shipping and transit costs from the purchaser’s location to our NYC warehouse.
Lifting or carrying the aquarium by the top frame or bracing may cause damage to tank structure and will void all warranties. Drilling holes anywhere in the aquarium or in any other way altering either the aquarium or aquarium stand, will void all warranties. If the aquarium is not placed on a flat, solid, level surface designed to support aquarium of its size, if the aquarium is moved when it is not completely empty, if the sealant at the edges or corners of the aquarium is removed or cut, if the foam attached to the bottom of the aquarium is removed, if the aquarium is chipped or shows any glass damage due to impact, negligence or mishandling, or if the aquarium is used for other than its intended purpose, will void all warranties.
AquaVim Glass meets or exceeds ASTM Standards C1036-16 for Flat Glass, and ASTM C1464-16 for Bent Glass. Areas of bent glass in models with tighter curves may have subtle small (<2″) polish marks or superficial scrapes which do not affect the use of the aquarium, which is still covered under this warranty when used with AV furniture.
Fish loss, personal injury, property loss or damage (direct, incidental or consequential) resulting from use of this product are not covered by this warranty.

Do you have a bubbler or wave maker located in such a place to cause water to run over the edge?
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS NON-TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. AQUA VIM® DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY HOME, OFFICE, OR SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT DAMAGES CAUSED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY BY OUR PRODUCTS. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. THIS WRITING CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT OF THE PARTIES IN REGARDS TO THE SUBJECT MATTER HEREOF.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that may vary from state to state. False claims are punishable by law under 18 U.S. Code § 1341
To obtain service under this warranty, you must retain the original bill of sale for both the aquarium and the stand as evidence of the date of purchase. First contact the dealer you originally bought the aquarium from, then have the dealer contact us. It will help get support faster if you send us pictures to show the problem along with your description. If needed, the aquarium should be cleaned and sent freight prepaid, with sufficient packing and proof of purchase, to the address below:

TO ACTIVATE THE WARRANTY, THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER MUST KEEP THE BILL OF SALE/ INVOICE (ELECTRONIC COPY IS FINE) AND SHOW THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER’S NAME, ADDRESS, AND THE PURCHASE OF AN AQUA VIM® TANK AND AQUA VIM® STAND TOGETHER. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY LEAD TO THE WITHDRAWAL OF WARRANTY RIGHTS.
